The Knicks team page was in need of a refresh. While the roster was clean and straightforward, the individual player pages relied on a minimaly skinned NBA template that was difficult for users to parse for stats. With the art department implementing a new brand identity, and a new season a few months away, it was the right time to overhaul the site.

 

 

The solution was a focus on visuals and ease of use. A strong call to action led from each player's headshot to their in-depth stats. The player stats page featured bold infographics with a filter to toggle between stats, player-specific media, and a full bio. Team stats were made more easily readable, with stats grouped by category, and more filters to fine tune users' viewing preference.
